Brief History of St Thomas church at Wyrallah
The foundation block for St Thomas Wyrallah was laid on 23rd July 1909 by the Bishop of Grafton and Armidale, Rt Rev. Henry Cooper. The first service in the church, conducted by Rev. H J Velvin of Woodburn was held on 16th January 1910.
St Thomas and it’s congregation have enjoyed a full and dedicated community role since 1910 and celebrated a landmark centenary on 8th May 2010.
