PRAYER OF THE DAY (COLLECT) ~

We pause to offer prayers and thanksgiving that we bring to our celebration of Holy Communion

O God,

in the transfiguration of your Son

you confirmed the mysteries of the faith

by the witness of Moses and Elijah,

and in the voice from the cloud

you foreshadowed our adoption as your children:

make us, with Christ, heirs of your glory,

and bring us to enjoy its fullness;

through the same Jesus Christ our Lord,

who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Pray Points: – Please pray for all SRE and REAL teachers in our public schools.

– Pray for God’s guidance through out our AGM and in the selection of our Parish Councillors and Synod Representatives.

– For willing volunteers to help run our Sunday School.

The sick: Olive Sheaffe, Joan Sheaffe, Peg Parry, Narelle, Len Clapham, Deborah, Marie Wilson and Margaret Doyle.

The bereaved: We remember Roy Cecil Lynn and all who have gone before and pray for their families and friends.

“We will connect to the wider community intentionally and meaningfully seeking to bring transformation of life through faith in Jesus Christ.”

The Anglican Parish of Lismore in the Diocese of Grafton is committed to protecting your privacy.

The people on this sick list have requested prayers at this time. Please inform the Parish Office of any changes.
