REAL    help needed Urgently !!!

Chaplaincy funding is now for ONE day a week only.

The need and desire in the schools is for this ministry to continue to grow.

We have indicated to our Teacher/Chaplains we may need to cut one a day a week from each at the end of Term 2.

Additional local funding can avert this; so we make this appeal now.

Your prayers, promotion and support is appreciated.

Donations to REAL Inc. P.O. Box 7021, Lismore Heights 2480.

Anzac Day Prayer

God of love and liberty,

we bring our thanks today for the peace and

security we enjoy.

We remember those who in time of war

faithfully served their country.

We pray for their families,

and for ourselves whose freedom was won at such a cost.

Make us a people zealous for peace,

and hasten the day

when nation shall not lift up sword against nation

neither learn war any more.

This we pray in the name of the one who gave his life

for the sake of the world:

Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

Congregation Response to the Two Great Commandments:

Lord, have mercy on us: and write your law in our hearts by your Holy Spirit.

~ PRAYER OF THE DAY (COLLECT) ~

We pause to offer prayers and thanksgiving that we bring to our celebration of Holy Communion.

We behold your glory, O God,

in the love shown by your Son,

lifted up on the cross and exalted on high:

be glorified anew in the love we have for one another

as disciples of the risen Lord Jesus,

who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever. Amen

7:30am, Midweek & Dunoon

A Prayer for Choosing a new Rector

Bountiful God,

give to this parish a faithful pastor

who will faithfully speak your word

and minister your sacraments;

an encourager who will equip your people for ministry

and enable us to fulfil our calling.

Give to those who will choose, wisdom,

discernment and patience,

and to us give warm and generous hearts,

for Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen
