Bellringers needed

Due to some ringers moving away from the area and others with work commitments, St Andrews needs new ringers to keep our 8 bells sounding out over Lismore.Contact Robert (0410 680 285) or the Office if you are interested. Practice night is Wednesday at 5.30 pm but initial bell handling lessons can be at any time as the bells can be muffled..In previous centuries in England bellringing was always called “The Exercise”.It is still called that in some places in England.

This I ask in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Congregations Response to the Two Great Commandments:

Lord have mercy on us and write your law in our hearts by your holy spirit

We pause to offer prayers and thanksgiving that we bring to our celebration of Holy Communion.

O God,

you are in love for your people:

show us the treasure that endures

and, when we are tempted by greed,

call us back into your service

and make us worthy to be

entrusted with the wealth that never fails.

We ask this through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,

who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer Point:  For our SRE teachers and students and our companion school Goonellabah Public School.

The sick: Maree Kesby, Marie Cormick, Olive Sheaffe, Joan Sheaffe, Peg Parry, Joy Hutley, Narelle, Len and Maureen Clapham, Bernice Robinson, Anthony Tomor, Faye Scherf, Bill Clarke ,Margaret Doyle and Hazel Lee.
