Brief History of St Mathews Anglican Church Dunoon
St Matthew’s Anglican Church Dunoon has risen from the rubble! After being destroyed by a violent tornado on 26th October, 2007, the construction of the new brick church building is finally complete. This is the third church on this site; the previous two were also destroyed or damaged beyond repaired by violent tornadoes.
The new church was consecrated on 9th October 2010 by the tenth Bishop of the Grafton Anglican Diocese, Bishop Keith Slater.
