~Scripture Sentence~

It is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”

who has shone in our hearts to give

the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

(2 Corinthians 4.6)

Eternal God, our glorious King,

whose Son Jesus Christ was transfigured on the holy mountain

and seen in splendour by his chosen witnesses:

grant us, his followers, faith to perceive his glory,

to listen to him, and to walk in his way,

that we may be changed into his likeness

from glory to glory;

for he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

audayAussie Sunday Lunch

Sunday 9th March

Give a welcome to new international students at Southern Cross University, Lismore (SCU). Some will be homesick. Some will be enjoying the adventure of living here. All need a warm welcome and friendship.
The aims of the Aussie Sunday Lunch are: to provide a community welcome to the new students; to facilitate meeting people within the wider community; to provide a cultural experience for overseas students.
SCU is grateful for your willingness to support the students in this.

Interested? Contact Robert Lingard, SCU. rlingard@scu.edu.au   or 0407 203 390

ahbHymn Books

Following a motion from the AGM, the Rector invites interested parishioners to join him in a working group to examine the need for new hymn books at St. Andrew’s. It is evident that our current Australian Hymn Books (no longer in print) are starting to feel their age.

This opportunity to be involved in “Ministry of the Word” will commence in March. Interested? Please contact the Ministry Centre 6621 3200.
