~ PRAYER OF THE DAY (COLLECT) ~
O God, the fountain of life,
to a humanity parched with thirst
you offer the living water that springs from the Rock,
our Saviour Jesus Christ:
stir up within your people the gift of your Spirit,
that we may profess our faith with freshness
and announce with joy the wonder of your love.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen
Prayer points:
Þ Our Bishop, The Reverend Dr Sarah Macneil.

the varied ministries of an Anglican country parish.
Billets are required for the team members from Saturday evening 5th April to Monday morning 14th April. We understand team members have their own transport.
Can you please help with accommodation? Further details from Lorelle at the Ministry Centre phone 66213200.
Hymn Books
The Rector invites you to join him in a working group to examine the need for new hymn books at St. Andrew’s. Our current Australian Hymn Books (no longer in print) are starting to feel their age. This opportunity to be involved in “Ministry of the Word” will commence in March. Interested? Please contact the Ministry Centre 6621 3200.
Parish Pantry
During February 140 people were given parcels. Many thanks for your continued support both with food and money. Suggestions for donations; cans of spaghetti (with ring-pull), small cans of tuna, tea/coffee/milo, noodles, powdered milk, weetbix, sugar, disposable nappies & EGG CARTONS.
Photographic Competition
Just a little competition for any photographers in the parish (sorry no prizes except the satisfaction of winning).
Our Parish Facebook picture is a little out of date. Several of those parishioners pictured no longer attend St. Andrew’s, some have even gone interstate.
Please submit photos, to the parish office, which reflect the life of our parish and then we’ll choose the most representative.

What is it like to be a Christian in the Middle East?
To simply have faith in Jesus can bring serious danger – and today, the existence of Christianity in the Middle East is at risk like never before!
In Iraq, more than two thirds of the Christian population have fled the country after decades of war and violence.
In Syria, religious leaders estimate around 40% of Christians have left since the beginning of the civil war in 2011.
And in Egypt, attacks on Christians and their families, communities and churches continue, often with devastating results.
Open doors is standing with believers in the midst of the chaos.
We invite you to journey with us as we explore what Dangerous Faith looks like in these nations today.
