Centenary Service of Thanksgiving

We will be celebrating 100 years since the dedication of the Chancel,

Transepts and Pipe Organ followed by High Tea in the Parish Hall.

To assist catering please indicate your attendance on lists provided in the church by 20th July 2014

Sandwiches will be provided for the High Tea but your assistance with slices and cakes would be appreciated

Replacement of AHB Hymn Books

We are looking at replacing our old Australian Hymn  Books with the new “Together in Song”. These will cost $35 each and we will need 120 books. If you are interested in contributing to the cost there will be a?list at the back of the church for your name, address and amount you would like to contribute, or place an envelope marked TIS in the offertory.

Thank you to our parish Op-Shop for their generous donation of $1,750 (50 books).

NEEDED/WANTED

Primary Itchthus

Primary Ichthus is in need of lids from roll on deodorant and aerosol spray cans as well as used greeting cards to be used for craft activities.  If you can help would you please place them in the box provided under the mission table at the back of the church. These supplies are needed by the end of September.

Their ride on mower has got to the stage where it is not worth repairing. If you have or know of anyone who has a mower suitable that they do not want any more. Please contact the

Help Needed

Can anyone in the parish help Hezron Tomor’s family of eight with some cooked meals. Hezron is in Brisbane  Hospital and it is hoped he will soon be moved to Ballina Hospital for rehabilitation. If you can help would you please bring the food to the Ministry Centre so it can be delivered.

Any help would be appreciated.
