~Scripture Sentence~

The words you have spoken are spirit and life, O Lord; you have the words of eternal life.

John 6.63,68

Bountiful God,

we thank you for planting in us the seed of your word:

by your Holy Spirit, help us to receive it with joy,

and to live according to it,

that we may grow in faith and hope and love;

through Jesus Christ our Lord,

who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Last Sunday a lovely afternoon was spent at the home of Charmaine Murphy. The weather was beautiful, scrumptious food and wonderful fellowship. Many thanks to Charmaine and her family for allowing us to use her home as the venue for the soup luncheon, as well as a thankyou from the people who attended. $903 was raised, after expenses. This was an amazing result.
