~Scripture Sentence~

Blessed are those whose way is blameless,

who walk in the law of the Lord.

(Psalm 119.1)

~ PRAYER OF THE DAY (COLLECT) ~

Almighty God,

you gave the law to guide our lives:

grant that we may never shrink from your commandments,

but, as we are taught by your Spirit,

may fulfil your law in perfect love;

through Christ our Lord and Master,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever.

Amen

SERMON ON THE MOUNT

A CONFERENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS

KYCK 14 is all about staying on the right track. We’re going to be looking at the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ – one of the all-time great moments in public speaking! Life is a series of crossroads and we make choices about which road to take every day. One road is massive – heaps of people walk on this road; it’s easy but it’s godless. The other road is narrow – it’s tough, there are only a few people on this road; it has its ups and downs, but it always takes you toward Jesus.

KYCK #1 – 11-13 April

KYCK #2 – 25-27 April

KYCK #3 – 2-4 May

Book online at www.kyck.kcc.org.au

KYCK is held at the Katoomba Christian Convention Site at the corner of Cliff Drive and Violet Street in Katoomba.

As you may or may not know, the town of Cloncurry is facing evacuation, due to a lack of drinking water. Cloncurry has been a town that BCA has previously had involvement with and as this a very serious situation, we would like you to pray with us.

So please pray with us that God would provide a miracle for the town of Cloncurry and that there will be enough rain for the residents to be able to have water and save the town from disaster.

Full story on the Courier Mail website.

We hope you have a blessed week.
