The Ministry Team assists the Senior Pastor in Pastoral Care of the community.
Pastoral care involves Shepherding the flock. This is a loving way of caring for people rather than controlling them.
…Shepherding involves tending to needs, strengthening the weak, encouragement, feeding the flock, making provision, shielding, refreshing, restoring, leading by example to move people on in their pursuit of holiness, comforting and guiding.
The Pastor’s main job is to preach messages, but in addition to preaching sermons, Pastors are also expected to be involved in the many local ministries, such as hospital chaplaincy, home visitations, baptisms, weddings, funerals, evangelism and organizing religious activities, all this requires a Ministry Team and the involvement of the congregation.
